Issue with Windows Desktop Volume Overlay

somehow I’m unable to disable the Windows Overlay that appears when you adjust the volume. I can disable the overlay in the Spotify settings but as soon as I restart Spotify the overlay shows up again. It’s only a minor inconvenience, still I hope to see it fixed in upcoming updates.

You should probably take that up with the Spotify people, not me. Equalify is not affiliated with Spotify in any way.

Yes, I realize that. The issue did not occur before I installed Equalify though, so I assume it’s related to the Equalify plugin. I’ve done a bit of research on the Spotify board and it appears there was a similiar bug in combination with the Facebook messenger app which got fixed a few months ago.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Honestly forgot all about it.

Tested it now, and it behaves the same way - with and without Equalify installed.
So looks like an issue that they have reintroduced into their client.
