Equalify won't start

Hello there,

I used to have Equalify installed but had to hard reset my system and now after reinstalling the correct spotify version (not microsoft store) Equalify won’t start up for me. Even after trying to un- and reinstall either one of the programs…
Can anyone help me quick?

Quick checklist

• Make sure you have the latest Equalify version installed: https://www.equalify.me/dl/Equalify1.4.10-installer.exe
• restart spotify (file->exit)
• make sure you are not playing through spotify connect(to another device)
• and play a song. EQ loads when you play music.

I double checked by re-doing all the steps - still won’t work.

Please fill in the information below:

Operating system:
windows7/8/10

Soundcard:
If you know what soundcard(s) you have, please include it! (ie. Asus Xonar, Auzentech or HT Omega)

Spotify version
You will find the version info in the Help->About menu

Any special software or hardware you might have installed:
ie. Razer Gamebooster, Virtual audio cable, Voicemeeter (banana)

Anything else that can be useful or is related to audio processing on your system
ie. usb headset, using bluetooth speakers, using spotify connect

And ofcourse any other information that could be relevant.

It’s all fine, I was just stupid. It somehow got my spotify location wrong and i installed it to …/spotify/spotify - which isn’t even existing.
It works now, sorry for wasting your time!
