Equalify is not showing up 2017 Version 1.1.7

Problem description:
Equalify does not show up. Note that this did used to work with earlier versions of spotify and equalify.

Operating system:
windows 10

Soundcard:
I have a realtek soundcard but I am using a driver called “High Definiton Audio” because the realtek drivers make the sound crackle and pop.

Spotify version
1.0.51.693.g6ea1e7f6

Equalify Pro version
1.1.7

Any special software or hardware you might have installed:
MSI shift (it’s broken though, I’m pretty sure)

Equalify pro 1.1.7 and Spotify 1.0.51 are fully compatible.
Realtek soundcards also work fine with Equalify.

If you recently got a Spotify update or recently updated Equalify you should try closing Spotify (Use: file->exit)
Re-start it and play a song - and all should be well.

Spotify won’t even let me play songs anymore.

It says “This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it.”

And obviously Equalify is still not showing up.

Try re-installing Equalify: https://www.equalify.me/dl/Equalify-1.1.7-installer.exe

I reinstalled Equalify and then I restarted my computer and now it shows up without even having to play a song. Thank you very much for your help and this program! Both are much appreciated.
