Problem description:
I purchased Equalify many months ago for 5 dollars. I just reinstalled windows and I’m attempting to activate it, and get an error message.
Operating system:
Windows 8.1 Pro
Soundcard:
No soundcards, I’m using a Z97 Sabertooth Mark 1. Here is a specifications page that has included audio specs, not sure if that will help.
(Just filling this out, the issue is just that the key must be tied to a specific windows key or something, because I haven’t changed out my motherboard or anything - I just need it to be activated here and deactived elsewhere - although it’s all the same computer, so there is no elsewhere lol)

Any special software or hardware you might have installed:
ie. Razer Gamebooster, Virtual audio cable, Voicemeeter (banana)
Fresh windows install, none of these should be installed.
VAC may be installed on another hard drive, cause I haven’t wiped those yet, but it would have had to communicate with my SSD that has windows on it, which has a fresh windows install on it. Either way none of it is open, and it doens’t launch on startup or anything.
Anything else that can be useful or is related to audio processing on your system
Using an Audio Technica ATH-ADG1X, although I use an old version of it, so the drivers are slightly smaller, and the microphone isn’t as good. (Supposedly - Although I haven’t tried the new one, so I’m just saying what I’ve read)
